The MPM program is designed to develop and report on multimodal mobility performance measures. Transportation's most essential function is to provide mobility for people and goods. By measuring the performance of mobility, we can better understand how to improve it.

For perspectives on the use of the performance measures, administrative requirements for performance measures, and a look to the future of mobility performance measures, read the professional paper presented at the 2016 TRB Annual Meeting.
